Required Candidate Skills :
- 1-3 years of previous experience in application software support, software support, and/or software testing capacities on Windows platform
- Ability to work in a 24x7 environment working in day/night shifts on rotational basis, including weekends
- Ability to write, troubleshoot, and modify SQL Server stored procedures
- Very strong analytical and problem solving skills along with detail orientation
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of databases like SQL Server and Oracle
- Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services
- Experience with Tomcat, Apache, IIS, JBoss application environments programming experience in Java and familiarity with Java Messaging Service (JMS)
Job Description:
- Provide optimal 24/7 software support for all defects and user-issues for Synygys external and internal clients
- Work with Implementation and Managed Services project teams to ensure Software defects and errors are resolved in a timely manner
- Execute all software installation and upgrade services for all clients, internal and external
- Provide reasonable workarounds for urgent technical problems so that project teams can continue being productive
- Coordinate with members of the Software Development Team to determine if software issues are a result of software defects
- Monitor, follow up on, and report all unresolved issues to assigned project teams
- Proactively research and seek out new features, fixes or technical processes that could benefit assigned projects
- Proactively look out for known issues, which could potentially cause problems for assigned project
