ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
Unmarried Male Indian Citizen from Maharashtra meeting following eligibility criteria are invited to participate in the Recruitment Drive.

Educational Qualifications. Candidates should have qualified 10+2 /equivalent exam with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects; optional subjects Chemistry/Biology/Computers.

Age: Candidates should have been born between OF Feb 1995 to 3I Can 1999 Both dates inclusive .

SELECTION CRITERIA
Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit depending on their performance in Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.
Written Test:
2 The question paper will be objective type and will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and General Knowledge.
4 Syllabus can be obtained from website

Physical Fitness Test PF :
4 PFT will consist of 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes,
20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk. Candidates are to bring their sports shoes and shorts for PFT.
Medical Standards and rocedure for Medlcal Examinatlon
> As prescribed in current regulations applicable to sailors on entry.

Final Enrolment Medical Examination:
All select list candidates who are issued with a call letter for Final Medical examination will have to undergo a Final Enrolment Medical examination at Chilka prior to enrolment. Candidates found “unfit” during this medical examination will not be enrolled for training. No “appeal" is permitted for further review after the final enrolment Medical Examination at Chilka Tattoos. Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body is not acceptable and candidate will be barred from recruitment.

Note : Candidates, who have already completed BE/ B. Tech Degree need not apply. (ii) Candidate must have minimum of 60% marks in overall aggregate on completion of BE/B Tech. The candidate opting for Naval Architecture as one of the choice for the UES entry must have 6.75 CGPA overall grade on 10 Point Scale. Selection Procedure :
The eligible candidates applying for the entry will have to appear before a Naval Campus Selection Team for interview. The candidates qualifying the campus interview will be shortlisted for SSB interview on the basis of his/her preference for the entry, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria for particular entry. The final selection of Branch/Cadre will be decided by IHQ-MoD(Navy) depending on number of vacancies in particular Branch/Cadre. Candidates shortlisted during campus interview will be called for SSB interview at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Coimbatore/ Visakhapatnam between Dec 14 to Apr 15. (a) Conduct of SSB. Stage I test consisting of Officer Intelligence Rating(OIR) Test, Picture Perception and Discussion test(PPDT) will be conducted on the first day. Candidate who fails to qualify in Stage I will be routed back home on the same day. Stage II tests will comprise of Psychological testing, Group Task, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. No compensation will be paid in case of any injury sustained as a result of tests. The duration of SSB will be 05 days Successful candidates will thereafter undergo Special Medical Examination for approximate duration of 05 days at nearest military hospital. Successful candidates of Pilot & Observer entry will undergo following on qualifying SSB: (i) Pilot Entry. PABT (Pilot Aptitude Battery Test) followed by Aviation Medicals. (ii)Observer Entry. Aviation Medicals.(b) Change of SSB centre is not permissible. Any correspondence regarding change of SSB dates is to be addressed to the Call-up Officer of the concerned SSB. Award of fresh dates, would be subject to availability of date and batches at SSB centre. (c) Candidates recommended by the SSBs and declared medically fit, will be appointed for training in order of All India Merit depending on the number of vacancies. (d) Return AC 3rd rail fare is admissible for the SSB interview, if appearing for the first time for the entry.

Training :
