Required Candidate Skills :
- 1-4 plus years of broad-based experience in developing Java business applications for the web
- Proficient in building and designing web applications using the Spring Framework
- Good PL/SQL programming skills including exposure to packages, triggers etc. (Knowledge of database design desirable)
- Proficient with ORM frameworks (Hibernate and iBatis a plus)
- Experience using MVC frameworks, preferably JSF and Facelets
- Strong foundation in standard web technologies, e.g. JSP, HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, JSON, etc.
- Experience building Web 2.0 applications using JavaScript/AJAX frameworks and libraries, e.g. JQuery, ExtJS, etc. (ExtJS desirable)
- Experience in XML and Web Services
- Experience with TDD and unit test frameworks, preferably JUnit
- Experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD) and Agile development methodologies
- Experience with coding secure web applications (also familiarity with OWASP top 10)
- Experience with Maven desirable
