• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience (Self Learnt Freshers can also apply)
• Experience in Any one of the major Server Side Languages (PHP, Ruby, JAVA, Python or NodeJS)
• Experience with Front end HTML, Javascript, jQuery and CSS.
• Experience and deep understanding of programming with MySQL
• Good understanding on linux concepts
• Good collaboration skills to work both in teams and capability to work independently when necessary
• Ability to thrive in a fast moving environment by keeping yourself updated with the latest in the industry

Good to Have (But not necessary):

• Prior Experience working with NodeJS
• Understanding of complex SQL concepts like Indexes, triggers, procedures and complex queries and optimizations
• Prior Experience with unit, behavioural or user acceptance testing and TDD methodologies
• Experience building APIs for mobile Apps in the past
• Experience using In Memory Databases like Redis or Memcached
• Knowledge of NoSQL technologies like Mongodb or CouchBase.
• Knowledge of WebRTC and Real Time Socket Frameworks

Job Description:
We at tlkn are looking for Web Developers who have experience in atleast one major server side language like PHP, Python, Java, Ruby or NodeJS. We use NodeJS for most of our development but experience in one of the other languages with the willingness to learn NodeJS will also be considered. Your job will be to build server side code for both the Web Application and APIs for the company and complement the Mobile and Telephony Developers for their requirements from the server
