Required Candidate Skills :

• A need to know how things work, a desire to fix them if they dont and an urge to improve them!
• Expect to achieve, or already have, a 2:1 honours degree (or better) in computer science or engineering
• A passion for ground-breaking IT
• A keen interest in technology generally; a hunger to develop your knowledge of storage technology such that you fully understand our existing products and contribute to innovation in our new products
• Program productively in C, Python, and shell script on Linux
• Exhaustively test your own code before anyone else attempts to integrate it
• Work with others to elaborate and refine requirements
• Express design and implementation options in UML
• Document code thoroughly in doxygen
• Construct integrated unit tests, following test driven development practices
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent problem solving skills with a willingness to take ownership of difficult problems
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Willing to travel overseas

Additional Requirements:

• The following requirements are beneficial but not essential:
• Review and critique code written by your peers and also have your code reviewed and critiqued by your peers
• Embrace Agile and Lean software development principles
• Filesystem experience
• Database and NoSQL experience
• Hadoop, Spark, or other Big Data experience
• Practical experience in any of the above is advantageous.

Package Offered : 6,50,000 - 8,50,000 P.A
