Mandatory :

• 1 – 2 years systems experience
• Good troubleshooting skills (identify performance bottlenecks, networking issues, misconfiguration)
• Strong knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g., Perl, Python, Ruby, PHP)

Preferred :

• 1 – 2 years experience with Linux, preferably including development
• Perl knowledge
• Understanding of Object Oriented programming techniques, best backed by some hands-on C++/Java development experience
• Good TCP/IP and application layer protocol knowledge (SMTP, HTTP)
• Experience developing networked software (client and server socket operations)
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Ability to work with a diverse team of software engineers ranging from junior to very senior
