Required Candidate Skills & Job Description:

• Ability to work with team members to document their business requirements. Negotiate with the requestors to align their requests in support of the overall ITS program objectives and architecture.
• Development/Support - Experience working in UNIX/Lunix/Solaris/AIX environment with administration, Shell/Perl scripting, C, Oracle Pro*C, TCL/Expect. Working knowledge of databases (Oracle/SQL Server) with SQL/SQL*PLUS
• Strong communication skills - Clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups (i.e. organizes communication; adjusts to audience; ensures understanding; comprehends communication from others.)
• Adaptability/Flexibility - Demonstrates the ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude when encountering changes in the workplace. (i.e. Seeks to understand changes; maintains positive attitude when dealing with change; makes appropriate behavioral adjustments when needed.)

• BS/BA in Computer Science or MIS
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with UNIX scripting (Perl/Shell/VBScript), C, Oracle Pro*C, SQL Loader, TCL/Expect.
• Strong UNIX System Administration Skills (Linux, Solaris, AIX).
• Experience in the software and fix pack installations, configurations, and support of third party applications on a UNIX server
• Experience with databases (Oracle/SQL Server), SQL/SQL*PLUS.
• Maintain scripts for reporting and their distribution lists.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Self motivated Preferred Requirements.
• Control-M administration.
• Install, configure, and support BMC Control-M Environment
