Job Description:
Software Development and Project Management:
- In depth understanding of the software development life cycle
- Work closely with systems, hardware, validation/reliability and manufacturing engineering disciplines
- Experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) i
-Actively participate in the project planning process (e.g. estimates for project plan tasks, resources, completion time, capital requirements, risks, expenses, etc.)
- Balance sustaining and new product development projects
- Write specifications, test plans and document designs
- Software inspections and design reviews

Technology, Architecture and Methodology:
- Optimization of the software development flow, tools and processes from requirements to release
- Creation of modular SW architectures at the driver and application layers for real-time control systems

Customer Focus:
- Create, refine and clarify requirements with customers
- Understand end users application of products
- Meet or exceed customer requirements as set forth in specifications
- Evaluate and respond to customer questions and issues

Quality:
- Follow and contribute to engineering procedures and policies
- Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives

Strategic Leadership:
- Technical leadership for producing high quality and reliable controls
- Identify new products and technologies that will keep CCS ahead of the competition
