Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), is the largest establishment under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space. VSSC is engaged in the development of Sounding Rockets, Launch Vehicles, Spacecraft Subsystems and other Space related fundamental research activities.
VSSC is the lead Centre for carrying out all the major Launch Vehicle Projects of ISRO such as PSLV, GSLV, GSLV MkIII, Re-usable Launch Vehicle (RLV), Space Capsule Recovery Experiment (SRE) and advanced missions such as Inter Planetary Missions, Manned Mission and First Indian Moon Mission (Chandrayaan-1) etc.

Maximum age limit for Post Nos. 1231,1232,1233,1234,1236,1237 &1238 is 35 years as on 01.07.2013 (UR Category).
For Post Nos. 1231, 1235, 1237 & 1238 (Reserved for OBC), maximum age limit is 38 years as on 01.07.2013.
For Post No. 1234 (Reserved for ST) & 1237 (Reserved for SC) maximum age limit is 40 years as on 01.07.2013.
For Post No. 1239 (Reserved for SC) maximum age limit is 30 years as on 01.07.2013.
For all posts minimum age as on 01.07.2013 is 18 years.
Ex-Servicemen & Persons With Disability (PWD) are eligible for age relaxation as per rules. Children/family members of those who died in the riots of 1984 will be given preference in recruitment by giving necessary age relaxation as applicable.

Applications will be received on-line only. The application format for on-line registration is available in the website http://www.vssc.gov.in from 1000 hours on 17.06.2013 to 1700 hours on 01.07.2013 .
HOW TO APPLY:
Upon on-line registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. After submission, it is mandatory for the applicant to send only the following documents:
- A confirmatory copy of the online application.
- No Objection Certificate, from the employer concerned in respect of those applicants who are employed under Central / State Government / Public Sector Undertakings / Autonomous Bodies
- Declaration (only for OBC candidates.)
- The applicant need not send any other documents such as copies of certificates/marklists in proof of educational qualification, work experience, age etc.The above documents should reach the following address not later than 08.07.2013. .
