Required Candidate Skills :
- To work on a project for our client that involves evaluating signal strength of different WiFi networks in a user location.
- Requires placement of access points in a space for sufficient WIFI network coverage.
- Experience as a technical engineer in wireless communications (using IEEE 802.11 standards) including knowledge of WIPS (Wireless Intrusion Prevention)
- Knowledge of WiFi Alliance and 802.11 specifications
- Knowledge of Security protocols and authentication (WISPr, EAPS-TTLS, 802.1x, AAA, RADIUS)
- Fundamental knowledge in all packet based protocols such as TCP/IP (including protocols like DHCP, DNS, TCP, UDP, etc), MPLS and routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP4
- Intermediate knowledge of LAN Switching architecture, design and implementation
