Required Candidate Skills :

1. Candidate Should have Knowledge of software development languages and tools such as Jscript, VBScript, XML and SQL. TIBCO and Informatica is desired but not required.
2. Candidate Should have Knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle.
3. Candidate Should beFamiliar with the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
4. Candidate Should have Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
5. Candidate Should have Ability to work and communicate in a project team environment.
6. Candidate Should have Ability to interpret and question project requirements documentation.
7. Candidate Should have Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation.
8. Candidate Should have Some knowledge of clinical data management process for FDA regulated companies is a plus. Familiarity with FDA regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP desirable.

Job Description:

1. The Application Support Engineer is responsible for the support and maintenance of eCTS applications.
2. The post holder will perform application go-lives and support the applications throughout their active live time and will ensure the provision of 100% customer focus at all times.
3. This would be 24 x 7 on call rotation.
4. The Application Support Engineer would be responsible for taking off hour, emergency calls during a 24 x 7, two week rotation.
5. During the two week period that the Application Support Engineer is scheduled to be on call, they would be responsible for handling all off hour escalations that are sent to our support group.
6. The Application Support Engineer would also, be required to work their regularly scheduled day shift.
